The Importance of the Prophetic Office Today Ephesians 4:11-13 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: If ever we need the Office of the Prophet, it is surely today. In the time of famine, as it is today, the Office of the Prophet is sought after more than ever. The Body of Christ is still being perfected, we are still doing the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and still being edified. Therefore the Office of the Prophet is still needed today to accomplish this task of bringing the Body of Christ into the Unity of Faith and into the Fullness of Christ. Prophets are the mouthpiece of God used to declare God’s mind and intentions in the earth. Prophets have the ability to pick up and interpret the vibrations and patterns of various forms from different realms, then presents it to us in a way for us to understand what secret thing God is revealing. Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. Whenever God wants to accomplish something in the earth, he will find himself a Prophet somewhere to herald and decree the plan of God from the secret place of the Most High. It is of importance to note, that which the Prophet decrees should always be in the Spirit of one that testifies of Jesus Christ. Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. Prophets belong to God, prophecies revealed belongs to us and are secrets unveiled from God to us and for us to abide in his words generationally forever. The Prophet is the revealer of the secrets of God. That which is secret is sacred and must be handled with humility, reverence and prayer. God Almighty is the giver of gifts. He gives the Prophet the ability to see around the corner and alter whatever the danger is around the corner. Mankind see linear, Prophets see in dimensions or realms. This exceptional sight is known as sight beyond mere sight, revealed to heal the direction of mankind to the Glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “That which is revealed Is to be healed The good which the Prophet see Is for me to be The good which the Prophet decree I embrace it, it is for me The words the Prophet speaks I choose to let it alter me” Prophets are your navigators, your GPS and your inventors in society today. 1 Chronicles 12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; The children of Issachar were an Order of Prophets that knew what the nation of Israel should do. In this day and time how much more we do need Prophetic eyes that can guide Nations, Kings, Presidents, Prime Ministers and various Heads of States, businesses etc., into God’s purposes and plans.
